Kumarina

The project is located in the Murchison region, WA. The primary targets are gold and base metal mineralisation within a sequence of Proterozoic sediments.

The tenement lies approximately 200 kilometres NE of Meekatharra along the Great Northern Highway, approximately 10 kilometres east of the historical Kumarina copper mine within the Proterozoic Collier Basin. Regional soil sampling by the Geological Survey of WA (GSWA) located elevated copper, gold and silver values in surface soils that have not been followed up by further exploration.

There are no mineral occurrences recorded within the project however there is the Beyondie Bluff copper occurrence, seven kilometres to the southeast of the project and there are also the Kumarina copper deposits 10 kilometres west of the project, both these occurrences are within similar aged rocks that are found within the project area.
